Attorney Michelle Farley has been practicing law for 32 years. She is a 1991 graduate of N.Y.U. Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree. Upon graduation from N.Y.U., she served as a law clerk to Hon. Marvin J. Garbis in the Federal District Court of Maryland (Baltimore). She worked at two large firms in Washington, D.C. before relocating to Pennsylvania where she has been serving clients since 1998. From 1998 – 2012 Attorney Farley developed her own practice in family law, real estate, title work, District Court Matters, Estate work and Probate matters. In 2012 she joined Fisher & Fisher Law Offices, Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania where she headed the firm’s family law practice in the Cresco office until May 2023.

Attorney Michelle Farley has extensive experience litigating both probate and family-law matters including custody, custody relocation, high-asset divorce matters asset division, support, mediated divorce, collaborative family law, and guardianship matters. She has taken several cases on appeal to Pennsylvania Superior Court and has written many briefs. She served as solicitor for Paradise Township in 2004. She served as solicitor for a local planned private community for ten years.
Attorney Farley has taught classes for Continuing Legal Education credit through the Monroe County Bar Association as well as the state bar association. Attorney Farley has judged the local high school mock trial competition for more than 15 years.

Attorney Farley is a member of the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators and has mediated dozens of divorce cases to successful conclusion. Attorney Farley is a co-founding member of Pocono Collaborative Lawyers. Attorney Farley is a Pennsylvania notary and has been for many years. She serves on the board of directors of the local watershed organization and is a former US team and Division I collegiate rower.
